We quarantine and condition

Do you guarantee live arrival?
Yes. Every order of live plants, snails, and fish is covered by our live arrival guarantee. If anything arrives dead or visibly unhealthy, contact us within 2 hours of delivery with a photo or short video and we'll replace it or refund it, no argument.
How do I acclimate my new Anubias, snails, or fish before adding them to my tank?
For plants, rinse gently and remove any packing material before planting — no drip acclimation needed. For Assassin Snails and Ivanacara Bimaculata, use the drip method: float the sealed bag for 15–20 minutes to match temperature, then slowly add small amounts of your tank water over 20–30 minutes before release. Never dump bag water directly into your tank.
Will Assassin Snails (Clea helena) eat my other snails or shrimp?
Assassin Snails hunt pest snails like bladder and pond snails, which is exactly why most people add them. They generally leave adult shrimp and larger ornamental snails alone, but very small or baby shrimp can occasionally be at risk, so keep that in mind if you're running a dedicated shrimp tank.
What tank size and water conditions does Ivanacara Bimaculata need?
A single pair does well in a 20+ gallon tank with plenty of driftwood, leaf litter, and plant cover like Anubias for line-of-sight breaks. They prefer soft, slightly acidic water (pH 5.5–7.0, temp 75–82°F) and appreciate a sand or fine substrate for natural digging behavior.
