Suggested Culture Instructions
For a Standard 1-Quart Paramecium Culture: Add 2 to 3 organic wheat berries to a clean container of aged RO or soft water.
The Inoculation: Introduce your starter culture after 24–48 hours, once a slight bacterial haze forms. The wheat berries will steadily feed the culture for weeks.
Maintenance: For long-term culture maintenance, simply add a fresh berry every few weeks as the old ones completely break down.
The Yummy BioFilm Quality Standard: We use these exact same organic wheat berries in our own facility to maintain our high-density starter cultures. Clean, reliable, and tested in our fish room to ensure maximum micro-yields.
