​Ideal Parameters for Success:
​Temperature: 65–79°F (18–26°C).
​pH: 6.5–8.0 (aiming for 7.2–7.5 is often ideal).
​General Hardness (GH): 6–15 dGH.
​Carbonate Hardness (KH): 3–15 dKH.
​Total Dissolved Solids (TDS): 130–300 ppm.
​Water Quality: Ammonia and nitrite must be 0 ppm, with nitrates kept below 20 ppm.


​Important Notes: Ensure a calcium source is available for molting. Avoid copper and copper sulfate, as they are highly toxic to invertebrates.
