​How to Launch Your Kit
​Prep the Base: Empty the pre-washed, crushed charcoal chunks into the plastic culture tub.
​Hydrate Safely: Pour in just enough Yummy Well Water to coat the bottom of the tub (about 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep). You want the charcoal to sit in a humid puddle, but not be completely submerged. Keep the rest of the bottle handy for future top-offs!
​Seed the Culture: Gently introduce your live starter culture into the tub, allowing the springtails to disperse naturally into the irregular charcoal gaps.
​Feed & Grow: Dust a tiny, microscopic pinch of the included rice powder over the top of the charcoal. Seal the lid, keep it at comfortable room temperature, and watch your new live food engine explode with life!
