Bucephalandra sp. Cobalt Blue
Description: A stunning, highly sought-after epiphyte native to the streams of Borneo. This slow-growing rheophyte features robust, short-stalked leaves that display an incredible metallic blue to deep blue-green iridescence under aquarium lighting. Perfectly suited for mid-ground placement, it forms dense, textured mats when anchored securely to driftwood or hardscape.
Key Features:
Captivating blue-sheened foliage that shifts in appearance depending on viewing angles and lighting.
Hardy and adaptable, thriving in low-to-moderate lighting though rewarding higher tech setups with richer coloration.
Slow-growing nature makes it exceptionally low-maintenance and ideal for nano tanks or detailed aquascapes.
Care Requirements:
Placement: Epiphyte; attach to rocks or wood—do not bury the rhizome.

CO2 & Flow: Benefits from moderate water movement and optional CO2 injection to enhance coloration and growth speed.

Why it matters
Most livestock gets shipped straight from a crowded holding tank. Ours doesn't.
